Services begin as soon as program eligibility is established and the family has agreed to services. A schedule for home visits is developed between staff and the family. Our home visitation protocol assist families in the following areas:

  • Planning activities appropriate for child’s age and level of development- Screening and education on development, behavior, health, and environment safety
  • Managing difficult behaviors in young children
  • Family support
  • Parent education
  • Nutritional education
  • Health monitoring
  • Coordinating with other agencies and primary care providers to improve medical care of the child

FF-NC staff assists families in locating and accessing additional needed services through other providers. Due to our lengthy experience in the community, we are able to assist with needed referrals in many areas including:

  • Medical/Well-Child Care
  • Specialty Health Services
  • Mental Health
  • Child Care & Education Services
  • Support Groups
  • Respite Care
  • Housing Services
  • Immigration Services
  • Dental Health
  • Crisis Counseling
  • Behavior Problems
